All glacier tours are designated as alpine routes - this means you are in high alpine, open terrain, partly on ice and scree. The trails are not hiking trails in the usual sense and may have exposed, unsecured walking and climbing passages with a risk of slipping and falling. Suitable equipment is mandatory. Please never undertake these tours on your own. Always ask a local mountain guide about the current conditions and alpine conditions beforehand!
