- FAMILY CLIMBING FERNERGRIES - Playful like the ibex in the mountains. The whole family will practise the first steps and moves of rock climbing together. Afterwards we grill sausages at an open fire at the foot of the climbing garden. - HOLDERLI-SEPPL-KLETTERSTEIG - Along the cascades of the Rifflerbach waterfall, the Holderi-Seppl via ferrata leads us high above the high valley of the Fernergries. Between stone pine trees and very close to the roaring stream, we explore the mountain landscape once covered by glacial ice. - GLACIER-EXPERIENCE TOUR-GLETSCHERZUNGE - Well equipped with crampons, rope and harness, we hike to the edge of the Gepatschferner, Austria's second largest glacier. - VIA FERRATA SEITWAND - The new and challenging via ferrata leads through the steep and overhanging 100m high wall directly above Feichten. In addition to a strong via ferrata experience, you can be proud to have climbed the side wall. Meeting point: 09.00 am in front of the Quellalpin, joint ascent via the Knappensteig to the start at the foot of the wall. - GLACIER TRAIL GEPATSCHFERNER - RED ROCK HIKE - From Oberbirg, the hiking guide takes you far up into alpine terrain. The hike leads over paths and pathless terrain along the wild glacier stream to the glacier tongue. You return via the shimmering red rocks of the Fernergrieß. - GLACIER TOUR TO RAUHEKOPFHÜTTE 2,731 m with overnight stay (family program) - Meeting point: 08:00 am at Fernergries on the Kaunertal Glacier Road. From there we walk through the valley formed by the glacier ice towards the glacier tongue. The recognizable glacier pillars tell the story of young nature. Equipped with crampons and harnesses, we enter the glacier tongue and marvel at the fascination of the glacier world as we ascend. Once we arrive at the rustic Rauhekopfhütte, we enjoy the afternoon and set up camp. Before dinner, the high alpine terrain around the hut offers plenty of space to switch off, meditate and linger. After breakfast at the hut, we set off early up to the Gepatschferner glacier plateau. In the morning light, we enjoy the unique glacier landscape and cross the Gepatschferner to the Zahn. We descend via the north ridge to the Kaunertal glacier ski area with easy ridge climbing.
