Safety

in the Tyrolean mountains

Hike safely and without detours through the Kaunertal mountains - the uniform signposting according to the Tyrolean mountain trail concept makes it easy for you to find the right path.

Signposts are the main element of signposting for hiking and mountain trails. To prevent a "forest of signs" in the countryside, the number of signposts is kept to a minimum. In principle, signposts are placed at every important crossroads, junction or fork in the trail. These signposts are yellow and include the destination, walking time and route number. In addition, there is a red dot on moderately difficult paths and a black dot on difficult mountain paths.
