The drive along the Kaunertal Glacier Panorama Road to the glacier at 2,750 m above sea level is a unique experience in itself. You drive through 6 alpine vegetation levels - from lush green flower meadows, past the Geptsch reservoir, ancient stone pine forests to the edge of the glacier ice.
Once you arrive at 2,750 m above sea level, the Karlesjochbahn gondola takes you up to 3,108 m without any barriers. Right on the Italian border, you can experience a breathtaking mountain panorama with a view!

Sommerberg Fendels
The adventure mountain for the whole family in the idyllic vacation resort of Fendels at the entrance to the Kaunertal. Float almost silently on the four-seater chairlift directly from the village of Fendels at 1,874 m above sea level to the Sattelklause mountain station and enjoy the Tyrolean natural landscape on the ascent. Once at the top, numerous attractions for young and old alike await you.
